Men's Ministry
Physical Care
We provide care for basic physical needs. A free meal is served each night, and breakfast is served in the morning. Our overnight shelter is available to men who need a place to stay on a temporary basis. Clothing and personal care items are distributed to those who have need.
We offer transitional housing as a way to help others become independent. This opportunity is for men who have some income, but not enough to afford a place of their own. They are able to have a more private space, and learn to budget for monthly expenses while still being able to save for future goals. Many who secure jobs have gone from our overnight shelter to transitional housing to their own apartment.
Spiritual and Individual Care
When someone first comes to the Mission, our Men's Ministry staff meets with them to evaluate their needs. We provide Biblical counseling and discipleship, classes covering a variety of topics, and assistance in connecting with other agencies as needed.
Children's Ministry
Our children’s ministry began in the 1920s with Bible classes held at the Mission. Over the years there have been changes in programs, but the gospel message remains at the center of all that we do. We are investing in the lives of children facing adversity as we build and maintain personal connections and teach biblical values through a variety of activities.
After school activities
The after school ministry features crafts and games, worship and a Bible lesson, outdoor time, tutoring, and a meal.
Camp Roberts
Our summer day camp includes a full day of fun and educational activities. We have chapel in the morning and incorporate the Bible lesson throughout the day’s activities. Kids take part in crafts, games, and swimming. They also have the opportunity to learn about and experience nature first-hand as they go on hikes through the woods.
